Pseudomonas Fluorescens
Product description
Pseudomonas Fluorescens is a biological fungicide, bio nematicide and plant growth promoting rhizosphere bacteria (PGPR). It belongs to the genus Pseudomonas. Pseudomonas enters the vascular system of plants, reaches different parts of the plant system and acts as a systemic biocontrol agent against various bacterial and fungal diseases. They help in the uptake of nutrients and also produce substances that promote plant growth.
It is also used to suppress soil-borne diseases caused by pathogens. They are well used in soil and foliar spraying and improve plant growth along with yield. Antibiotic siderophore chelating iron, hydrogen cyanide and lytic enzymes (Cellulase, Chitinase and protease) produced by Pseudomonas help to reduce pathogens and improve the resistance offered by plants to pathogens.
